This flat bread is a really pleasant surprise. The crispy crust and flavorful toppings earn a 4 pineapple rating and make this one of the best pizza/flatbread choices at Trader Joe’s.
I like vegetables on my pizza and am generally not a fan of fake meat or sausage in general. However, I bought this flat bread when I first saw it in my store as part of my commitment to “try something new every week”.
The flatbread is thin and cooks up nice and crispy. The sausage is spicy and the fire roasted tomatoes in the sauce and red peppers pieces add lots of flavor and slight sweetness. There isn’t much cheese on this pizza, but that’s fine with me.
Although this flatbread is small, you can actually be satisfied with half if you add a salad. TJ’s Country Italian or Caesar Salad Kit are easy choices that go well with this flatbread.

I love this product and can’t find it in my local, San Diego, TJ’s. Has it been discontinued or will it be back?
