This is my favorite of the shelf-stable Indian Fare offerings. The sauce is rich and flavorful and the cashew pieces are a nice touch.
However, the best thing about this dish is the noticeable chunks of vegetables (potatoes, carrots, peas, green beans). Most of the Indian Fare dishes focus on one main ingredient (eggplant, spinach or lentils) and are on the mushy side.
There is enough sauce that you’ll want to serve this with rice or naan to soak up the sauce.
Note that this dish looks nothing like the photo on the box which shows a golden sauce and colorful vegetable chunks. The sauce is reddish-brown and coats all the vegetables so you don’t see much color.

they used to “actually” put cashews in this. the last few time i’ve gotten it, there was like 2 cashew halves in the entire package. Hahahaha, nothing good lasts, still can’t figure that one out!? lol
