This is a tasty quiche, but only if you heat it in the oven. Although microwave instructions are provided, both the taste and texture suffer in the microwave.
This is a small single-serving quiche that makes a nice presentation served whole with a little garnish (parsley, carrot curl or cherry tomatoes) to add some color. Looks odd if you slice it, but might work for kids or a tea party 🙂Â
Other flavor options include Spinach & Cheese and Mexican, both of which are equally good so just a matter of personal preference.

Do you know what type of enzymes the cheese in these quiches contain? Since the quiche is marked as vegetarian does that mean automatically that it is made with vegetable enzymes/microbial?
Yes, if a product is labelled as vegetarian the enzymes and rennet are vegetarian sources. If you have a question about a specific product, you can submit it at http://www.traderjoes.com/contact-us/product-feedback. It would be great if Trader Joe’s would clearly identify Vegetarian products and always list the source of enzymes and rennet on the ingredient label. I suggest that we all submit this request at http://www.traderjoes.com/contact-us/general-feedbackhttp://www.traderjoes.com/contact-us/general-feedback
