I spotted these Spinach & Kale Bites in the frozen case at my store several weeks ago and decided it was time to give them a try.
To be honest I didn’t have high expectations given that the chunky green appearance isn’t very appealing, but these were surprisingly satisfying. Note that despite the healthy name these contain cheese and egg and half the calories are from fat.
The Spinach and Kale Bites are reminiscent of a spinach soufflé since the inside is soft and puffy and the outside is just a bit crispy. The bites are noticeably salty which I like but might not appeal to everyone.
These are tasty as is, but might be more special with a dipping sauce – perhaps a creamy yogurt and herb dip.

BRING THESE BACK! They were terrific and everyone I served them to, loved them! Why were they discontinued… hope TJ will reevaluate that decision! LH

These are sadly discontinued! It was one of my feeezer staples and I had them look it up last time I was there to verify. Sad day for me since I’ve tried to recreate them and weren’t half as good.
